Images by Ellis is a photography venture run by Karl and Alison Ellis.
We’re often at gigs or taking photos so, having spent time developing our technical photography skills and knowledge further, it was a logical step to try documenting concerts officially in 2025.
Bands liked what we were doing and promoters invited us back. Then we were asked to start reviewing and photographing gigs by a magazine.
We covered a festival and some community events, then started working on promotional projects… and so Images by Ellis was born.
Away from the camera, we run EBRS, our long-established reward consultancy, supporting organisations on their pay and grading systems. That background means we’re very used to working with people and companies – agreeing a brief, meeting deadlines and delivering meaningful results that are easy to use and share.
Images by Ellis is growing out of the same passion: clear communication, reliable delivery and a focus on what the images actually need to do for you – whether that’s selling a product, documenting an event or giving you a set of visuals you can use across your website and socials.
